DW176-02 Chen-style Taiji Double Swords Chen-style TaiJi Double Swords is one of the short weapons of Chen-style Taijiquan. It consists of various skills such as thrust, point and poke etc. In combination with the pliable yet tough strength of Taijiquan, the force of this series is flexible and changeable with main force on the wrists. Based on the double blade routine, Chen Zhaopi, the renowned master of Taijiquan, created the Double Swords series when he was teaching the boxing in Nanjing from 1930 to 1938. This has also combined the movements of Taijiquan and that of the Taiji sword. Chen-style TaiJi Double Swords Routines are composed of 39 movements.
